3,991 PointsApplying knowledge from my TechDegree ... ?
Hello,
I'm currently taking the Full-Stack Javascript TechDegree.
After several hours of research I determined this was the most valuable degree for me, since I already have several years background in HTML and CSS.
As a freelancer, I've been working primarily with Wordpress and Squarespace : creating, modifying, and customizing websites on these platforms for clients. I've also done some advanced customization in Squarespace to create unsupported features like responsive auto-play videos on specific themes, animated pre-loaders, etc.
My main hope (after completion of the program) was to take my HTML / CSS / Javascript skills and carve out a larger niche in the Wordpress / Squarespace platform market.
My question :
Does it make sense to go through the TechDegree program just to have enough knowledge to manipulate platforms like Wordpress / Javascript? I was worried it might be overkill (although I do like having the guide of 12 projects to create).
Thank you for any answers! :)
