Are Macbook Air 2017 sufficient machine for web development work?

Are Macbook Air 2017 1.8 GHz i5 - 8 G.B Ram - 128 G.B SSD sufficient machine for front end development work and some backend development with node.js & MongoDB.

Note: If I bought it , it will be the only laptop I will use it as the main programming environment. Also in learning curve.

A lot of people are doing web development work on Chromebook these days. So yeah, I say that MBA 2017 specs are sufficient.

Web development does not need a fast computer, but two displays is a must in my opinion.
