Are new courses ever added to tracks?

When new courses are released, are they added to existing tracks? Is it possible to complete a track and then have courses added to that track later? If that does happen, is there some kind of notification that there is new work that can be done in that track?

So do people who had previously completed the Android Development track get some kind of notification?

People are also invited to complete the newly updated course as well through the notification system/daily suggested content. You will earn new points and badges for going through the updated content.
