Are single quotes necessary in Vue.js ?

Are single quotes mandatory in Vue.js for it to understand DOM manipulation?

The answer is no. :) It's personal preferences with regard to the string values in your view instance, although I would retain consistency throughout. That is to say, if you use single quotes I'd do it for each key-value pair.

If you're referencing methods in a Vue instance in your markup as HTML attributes you should use double-quotes.
