General Discussion

Are the challenges hard to understand for others?

Sometimes I feel like the wording of the challenges throw me off and are not indicators of my understanding in a real life situation.

Am I the only one, or should the questions always make sense?

Usually they make sense. I recommend asking questions here if you need help on something.

There's an odd question sometimes but I'm usually fine. The feedback that is provided when I get a question wrong is sufficient enough for me to usually fully understand what I did wrong.

If you're having a hard time understanding some of the questions, try to read over them a few times. If you're still not understanding them, you may want to quickly skip over the videos again because the questions are highly relative to the videos. Of course, if none of that helps you can ask the community here on the forums and I'm sure someone will give you a sound answer.

Javascript was particularly rough - sometimes they’d want very basic stuff when the videos were more in-depth and I’d think about it too much.

To throw in from the other side - the challenges are near impossible for me after a point in nearly all the courses. I have over 17,000 points and a coding bootcamp under my belt. I just really struggle with on the spot problem solving........potentially a red flag for becoming a developer : (

I force myself to type out the correct answer from the forum and comment in exactly what’s happening to help cement the solution for me.
