Are there any other simple app videos?

I am going to learn iOS development and I want to know if there is any other video I can watch on how to make a simple app other then the Crystal ball app; I would much rather learn a different app. Thanks.

the simple app project is the only beginner level app project besides the sprite kit project and I recommend doing the sprite kit project later since its got some complicated concepts involved with it. you can try and do the intermediate level Build A Blog Reader App Project, but I would suggest doing the Crystal Ball app first as it covers the basics. Any reason why you dont want to do it?

The reason I do not want to make the app is because of religious convictions.

ah ok. well if you want to get into game development the sprite kit course is classified as a beginner course (although really I think its more of an intermediate level). the blog reader course is pretty simple although it is classified as intermediate. I would probably just do the blog reader if you dont want to do crystal ball.

also note that you don't have to implement the actual crystal ball/predict the future part of the app if that's what you aren't comfortable with. you can follow along and just skip the parts about adding the crystal ball image and animation and just make the app with a button and label that displays a somewhat random string if you want. you don't have to make your app exactly the same as amits in the videos.
