229,732 PointsIf you scan the forum archives, you'll see where this question is asked pretty regularly. And the gist of the staff responses is that while C and C++ are very popular languages, their primary applications are in areas that are outside of the web technologies that are the focus of Treehouse.
In a question just last month a staff member responded with "To do justice to this language would require a full-time teacher and considerable additional resources we're unable to commit to at this time."
And while it's never been said explicitly, another factor might be the large volume of quality tutorial sources (and many are free) readily available online, such as:
