1,383 PointsAre we able to download and use the files we created on Workspaces?
Hello!
There is some time that I have started lessons on Treehouse. I must say that I am very happy with Treehouse, and the fact that they provide Workspaces, an interactive programming tool. However, can we download the HTML and CSS files we create on Workspaces? I'm asking that after we finish a lesson, instead of beginning a whole new project from scratch, if we can download the files and develop our website further more. Or are the files created on Workspaces copyrighted by Treehouse, so we cannot do what I have asked above?

If you open the work space, you can click on File>>download work space
The work space will come in zip format with all the files inside it.

6,234 PointsHi Christopher, I think that the answer to your questions is NO, as least I did not find the option to download the workspaces.
I can suggest an alternative solution which worked for me. I had installed Sublime text and each time I start a new lesson i download project files, which are used in that lesson. Then I follow along with the teacher and use the text editor on my machine, instead of workspace. This way I do not depend on the internet connection, have my codes with mea and can always practise while offline.
Hope this helped. Rustam
