hi there, you forgot the ticks of the template literals in the value of items

function createListItems(arr) { 
    let items = ""; 
    for ( let i = 0; i < arr.length; i++ ) { 
        items += `<li>${ arr[i] }</li>`; 
    } 
    return items; 
};
