what is the correct format character for a 'char' %c when using the printf()....please i need an example to complete this code challenge on Array

the format specifier for a char is %c

char letters[2]; letters[0]=alpha; letters[1]=bravo;

would this be correct way to use the printf() below. When encounter with the format specifier for a char %c printf("letters a b: %c\n", letters);
