im not sure why its not accepting the code

that line looks correct. you need to make sure you leave the code from the previous tasks in there. I passed using the code you provided for the last task:

float math_constants[2];
math_constants[0] = 2.71828;
math_constants[1] = 1.41421;

printf("Euler's number = %f\n", math_constants[0]);

it did eventually pass. not sure what the issue was.
