Java

Arrays.asList();

Hi guys,

Can anyone explain to me why this is not working in an IDE like Eclipse? I keep getting this error: The method asList(String, String, String, String) is undefined for the type Arrays

The code is below:

package arbPractises; import java.util.*;

public class CollectionsContinued { public static void main(String[] args) { List<String> numberWords = Arrays.asList("six", "seven", "eight","nine"); } }

Did you import Array and List library?

Hi Alex thanks for the reply. You are right I hadn't imported java.util.Arrays; . I had import java.util.*; think that was enough but it wasn't. Thanks for your help.
