ASP.NET Web Application - NOT showing up in new project picker Visual Studio 2017 Community.

Hey there,

I checked the package that are installed, and installed everything that's called ASP.NET. The only thing I do see in the new project picker list is when I search all template projects for ASP.NET Web Application.. its only shows ASP.NET Core Web Application. James Churchill explicitly tells in his video tutorials here on Treehouse that the user should not pick .NET Core since it will most probably differ much from the .NET Standard.

Now what can I do? Or is this course outdated by now?

Please respond,

Sincerely, James
