Assigning a variable with a descendant selector?

I have great notes from the videos but i don't see anything anywhere about assigning a variable with a descendant selector. I know this is a very simple thing but after guessing about 100 times I'm out of options on the syntax. MDN does not help as they have no specific info on variables AND descendant selectors together. I think it should be the var assignment first let navigationLinks = and then add: let navigationLinks = document.querySelector(nav ul li); or: let navigationLinks = document.querySelector(.nav ul);

Hi terry okey ,

You need to use querySelectorAll because you're asked to select all element and use "nav a" for selecting all links element inside nav. Don't forgot quotes around your selector query.
