HTML HTML Basics Going Further with HTML Links and Paths Challenge

Assistance with question

I'm having a difficult time trying to link the "img" and "src" code.

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Portfolio Page</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <img src="logo.png" alt="Site logo">
    <ul>
      <li><a href="">Home</a></li>
      <li><a href="">Portfolio</a></li>
    </ul>
    <h1 id="portfolio">My Portfolio</h1>
  </body>
</html>

It doesn't look like you've written any code yet. At least please give it a good-faith attempt and then ask for help if you have trouble.

the <img src> tag gets wrapped with an opening <a href=>, and closing </a> tag, which defines the pathway to the graphic, up one directory level, then down into the "img" directory this way:

<a href="index.html"><img src="../img/logo.png" alt="Site logo"></a>
