At 2:44 rest operator instead of spread operator

At 2:44 in the video Guil states he catches the remaining array elements in variable d with the spread operator, but as he demonstrates at 3:10 it behaves like a rest operator.

My interpretation of the difference is, that the spread operator outputs the sequence of values an array or object already holds, and the rest operator receives a sequence of values into an array.
