Just a quick question out of curiosity.
For as long as I remember Treehouse teachers have been using Sublime to code projects in their videos but Atom text editor seems to be the new kid on the block.
I never really got into sublime as I preferred to stick with Notepad++, mainly because I find it hard to get out of working habits but I really like the look of Atom. Is this the new Treehouse Text editor of choice? :)

Obviously don't know the answer, and I don't have anywhere near as much treehouse experience, but for front end Atom's pretty hard to beat honestly. I agree with notepad++ for python - though I've been enjoying Visual studio code lately - but for front end with the live update ... I really hope so, I think it'd be great for learners :)

8,600 PointsWhile I can't speak on behalf of others, I can confirm that I've seen a fairly diverse mix of text editors among staff throughout my years here at Treehouse.
Continue using what works best for you. Atom's awesome, but I personally still use NotePad++ mainly out of habit at this point.

Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsI know it sounds silly but I can't get passed N++ because I like it's browser preview feature. Simply run a browser and it opens a tab. I'm trying to train my brain to be open minded to Atom but I do find it gets slower as the RAM builds up, but N++ is far more stable.
