Attribute Selector

Hi

Is there a difference from perofrmance point of view if I write attribute selector for the submit button as follow:

[type="submit"]

instead of

input[type="submit"]

?

The first one will select everything with the type = "submit" attribute. Where as the second one will only select the inputs with the type = "submit" attribute.

Yep, be as specific as you need to be, without being too specific when picking the correct attribute selector.
