Automatically align text boxes to each other

In this video it looks like you create a new text box that automatically aligns with the previous one - there's a green line that shows up when you create the next one spanning from the the previous text box to the new one. How is that configured?

Hi Kate, been a while since I've watched the video, but I think I know what you're asking for. Make sure your smart guides are turned on. You can find smart guides under 'view' I think. Then, with the black arrow selected, hold down alt+control on a corner of the box and drag. This will simulaneously clone your object while allowing you to grab its corner without resizing the box. If your smart guides are on, you should be able to snap the shape into place.

Sorry for my delayed response! Thanks Geoffery, that's exactly what I needed to know :)
