background color is not changing

I put in all the code, correctly, I think, and the background color will not change from white to the green. Am I missing something?

a { color: #6ab47b; }

h1, h2 { color: #fff; }

nav { background: #599a68; }

nav a, nav a { color: #fff; }

should be nav { background-color: #599a68; }

Are you trying to change the background color of the whole document? If so, you have to target the body. It looks like your nav should be fine as there really is no difference between background and background-color(at least not that I'm aware of, it's just shorthand), although I do see you've repeated yourself by typing 'nav a' twice.
