Backslash in workspace does not be the same as in any other code processor program. Perhaps an explanation in Teacher's.

Which part are you talking about? The way this video uses a black slash works for python and therefor can be used in all shells. Something I would check is to make sure the environments you are working in are set to python 3 and not 2

I am generally talking about symbols. Backslash for example.

When writing this I can type a \ (backslash) when holding shift + alt + 7 and I can type { } In Work spaces that does not work. When I try I get no response. "alt" dont give a response. If I switch to an US kezboard in preferences I find the szmbols but then the rest the szmbols does npt match up with mz kezboard and I don+t believe that Treehouse mean everzone to shift to a US kezboard.

So with a German keyboard how to I get to write a \ and {} in Workspaces?

And it is Python 3.5.1

As I thought, switch to US keyboard. But apparently they are still new and will develop Workspaces to this awesome tool its suppose to be even if you sitting in Europe ;-)
