Basic C language

I am a new C language learner. can anyone please tell me, are getchar() and return 0 the same? i mean, can I use return 0 instead of getchar() in the code? I you help would be greatly appreciated. thanks :)

No, you can't. getchar() is a function that gets a character from the keyboard. "return 0" is just return numeric zero from the method. They're equal only if user enters zero from the keyboard.
