Courses Plus Student 1,466 PointsBasic questions about education funding, as well as employment rate
I was wondering what the employment rate/ratio is after taking these courses. Also I realize that you are not a university, but is there anyway to put education benefits like the GI-Bill towards this so I don't have to pay the annual costs out of pocket. Thank you for your time in answering these questions to the best of your ability, it is appreciated.

RE the GI-Bill: a few things in process, but to be frank nothing is imminent. As you noted we're not an accredited institution yet, and for better or worse that's the a general criteria for any US federal gov't education funding. Have you heard of our partner Incline HQ? They specifically focus on training veterans in web development and might be a helpful resource for you?
We also offer a discounted plan for US Military personnel (active or not) of $90 for a year or $9/mth. If you contact my amazing teammates in Support they'll be able to answer questions/get you set up on that plan.
RE Jobs: still in development mode on most of it...Points came out recently, but there are other new features forthcoming (not going to steal anybody's thunder). That said, << shameless plug alert >> some Treehouse students have gotten jobs because of the skills they've learned and developed here.
Kidding aside, when we hear about Treehouse students' successes because of what they've learned on Treehouse, getting jobs or other, it makes us super happy and excited. It's an important part of our Mission and something we're all very motivated to effect everyday.

We do indeed! It's $9 a month and it's equivalent to our Basic (silver) plan - there is no Pro (gold) equivalent. We do need to see some form of formal documentation that shows you are an active member of the military or a veteran.
For active members of the military, please send us your certificate of military service that you can obtain for free here.*
If you're a veteran please send us a Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD Form 214). Instructions for requesting this form are found here.*
Please note that these forms may include highly sensitive or personal information that we do not recommend sending over email. For your protection, please black out any personal information such as social security number, birthdate, and address before sending the form over to us.
Once you've sent over your verification we can provide you with a temporary link to setup your discounted plan. Thanks and we look forward to hearing back from you!

I just read in the forums that you offer a discount for veterans. Is that still true? How much are the silver/gold plans, if so? What do you need from me to prove veteran status?

I'm on the vet plan, and it's set up as a normal monthly subscription, not $90 upfront. All I needed to do was email a copy of my DD214 to support, explain that you'd like the vet plan, and wait a bit for them to confirm.
