Beginner Programmar with no experience...

Hey! I don't have any coding experience and I was wondering what tracks should I get started on, as a beginner? I want to be able to make websites and apps

web design probably - it'll give you the structural knowledge you need to to continue coding in JAVA or php or whatever functionality you decide to pursue for the apps you're planning to build.

if you can tell me more about your specific plans I can be of more assistance.

i highly recommend you that start with Web Design track, to learn all the basics, it is very complete from html, css to design and branding basics

I'm trying to build some complex websites because of a few start-up ideas I have ( have one current web start-up). Usually I hire other people to do all the technical work, but I want to start trying to di it myself.

Later on, I would love to turn my current web start-up into an app, but for now I want to just learn about making websites

Thanks for all the answers so far!

Hi Akila,

I'd recommend starting on the Front-end Developer Track and then moving on to the Ruby on Rails Track. Good luck!

Thanks for being a Treehouse Student :)

Cheers, Ryan
