Hey Guys,

Has anyone used an Affiliates Woocommerce extension before? If so can you recommend which one?

Thanks,

Joe :)

http://www.woothemes.com/products/affiliates-pro/ And https://affiliatewp.com/

Both of these work well. I prefer affiliatewp because of the team behind it. They are very talented and are the creators of easy digital downloads however their affiliate plugin works with lots of different wordpress ecommerce plugins.

Every plugins varies so make sure you choose what you think is best for your situation. The affiliate plugins are not cheap so its good to know exactly what you need before parting with your wallet.

Hey guys!

I'm a developer for AffiliateWP, let me know if you have any questions - I'd be more than happy to answer them here.

AffiliateWP fully supports WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads and many other eCommerce, membership and form plugins: http://docs.affiliatewp.com/category/75-integrations

PS. AffiliateWP has been recently added as a Student perk for Treehouse members, so you can save 25% on any license: https://teamtreehouse.com/perks

Damn I wish you'd told us about the discount before!! :(

Andrew, can I ask you a question? Is it possible to create a user on Wordpress that has permissions to manage the affiliate section? without being an admin?

Thanks,

Joe

ghost code - Thanks, I'm thoroughly enjoying it

Joe Li - It was only recently added :) Yes you can! You just need to assign the capabilities to your user:

  • view_affiliate_reports
  • export_affiliate_data
  • manage_affiliate_options
  • manage_affiliates
  • manage_referrals
  • manage_visits
  • manage_creatives
