Best approach for client needs

What is the best approach to take when a client wants a website built however they specifically request for them to be able to update and edit the website themselves despite having little to no coding knowledge?

I'd say that probably a CMS (content management system) is your best option. There are some excellent courses here on Treehouse on Wordpress which is likely the most widely used CMS out there today.
