Best Course for Starting Android Dev

Hey guys,

I feel like mixing up my Treehouse experience and take a totally different path from the usual for a little while. I'm interested in seeing what Android development is like and I just don't know where to start, any suggestions?

Cheers,

Hello,

If you're going to pick and choose courses, the first one I would recommend taking is the Android Tools Course. This will teach you about Android Studio and Genymotion(an alternative to the stock emulator). Then after that the Java courses if you are not familiar with Java. At this point, the way the track is set up is fairly decent, though my preference would be for the Publishing an App course to be at the end. There does feel like there's some overlap in topics thrown about here and there throughout the courses, but that just helps to reinforce the topics and help solidify them.

Thanks for that James : )

You're welcome. Have fun with Android Development.
