Best ORM for PHP ?

Looking at the examples given, it appears you would choose an ORM based on which language you are using? Such as ActiveRecord for Ruby.

No example was given for PHP. Can anyone recommend a good ORM for PHP developers?

Eloquent is one ORM for PHP and is used mostly by the Laravel framework.
