Wesley. Watch the video before that http://teamtreehouse.com/library/javascript-foundations/variables/hoisting from about the 5 minute to 6minute mark. There, Jim describes what is the best way to declare variables in a function in light of Javascript's hoisting.

In the challenge, it is asking you to rearrange the variable declaration to fit withing what is best practices for declaring variables.
