My question is with regards to creating gif style animations (i.e. passing a new image into an UIImageView every T seconds).
I would like to inquire what is the most appropriate way to do this.
I know there is:
[UIImage animatedImageWithImages:duration:]
but I believe this process lags and memory hogs when a very large array (say array of 50 images) is passed into it.
