Hey guys.
I am kind of new here, and I was wondering what the recommended web hosting company was around here? I am a student and I would be using it mainly for my portfolio and perhaps to show my clients what I have made so far.
So yeah, what should I choose?

Courses Plus Student 19,663 PointsI can only give you my opinion based on personal experience, but I would have to give my vote to asmallorange I have the $15 reseller package, which allows you to host 30 small sites, then you may charge a client money to provide hosting. They have numerous other packages too.
Great customer support, nice easy to use site, cPanel.

39,199 PointsWhen it comes hosting a small website what you are really paying for is the support, people to answer your questions and fix things when they break. Large enough to have dedicated support staff 24/7 and small enough to care if your website is down.
Personally I use A Small Orange, I currently have the tiny package which is $21 every 6 months and has some of the best support in the industry.

Kind of like Treehouse does if you refer someone to join up they will give you a discount on your monthly membership viewable here
