how does the system work? Ihad signed in treehouse on 18may then on 18 june I got a mail on my account to enter my payment details. I did not want to enter because I wanted to continue treehouse later. But on 19th may the charged me Why is this so

Courses Plus Student 6,497 PointsI dont know. you have to ask them. I was thinking of doing the same thing...skip a month like to study & then come back.... You have to ask Treehouse. This is just a forum. Staff sometimes respond but it takes longer for a response here.

28,148 PointsYou can email help@teamtreehouse.com to get an official answer, but as far as I understand it, yes in theory you can pause your account, and at the next billing cycle, you won't be charged, but you also won't have access to any of the videos or courses. When you come back, you unpause your account, and you'll be charged that day, and that will start your next 30 day billing cycle. But you can confirm all of that with the treehouse staff through that email.
