Are Binary Operators Swift function?
1 Answer
Gavin Maxwell
3,521 PointsA binary operator is an operator that operates on 2 values. For example the basic arithmetic operators are all binary, +, -, /, *. Eg 1 + 2. There are also unary operators that operate on a single value (e.g. the ! operator), and even ternary operators that operate on 3 values (I can only recall one which is the complicated looking conditional operator)
Hope this helps,
