Currently I am under PHP track and learning gaming from gameinstitute.com and also have completed game course from Treehouse

will it be Advicable leaving PHP track and shifting ,I have completed HTML and PHP simple application?

I may have not framed myself perfectly coz i am confused myself ;(

If you are just starting out, take some time and think about what you want to do. Is it games dev, is it wordpress, backend ruby? After that find out about the main languages that are used for that work. If you are into games then C and C++ is where you need to be, because most games are interacting with hardware at the C level. Step 1, relax and review what you want to do. Step 2, research what languages most people use to do that thing that you want to do. Step 3, go learn those languages.

It's hard to advise without knowing what your goal ultimately is. Do you want to actually make games? Knowing a bit of everything isn't actually necessarily a bad thing, I'm a Unity developer in my day job but I've had to learn bits of PHP, web development and even things like design and Photoshop. But in terms of core focus it seems like you need to decide first what that is for yourself. To me it sounds like you're getting an interest in game development. Early stages yet in Treehouse so the courses are still incoming. There's nothing lost in continuing on the PHP track, I've been through it myself and found it useful in my work but then it really does depend on your requirements. So the question is... What is it you really want to do (in terms of end goal)? What do you want to be able to create/make...
