Black Screen in iPhone sim.

Hi

When I run my app the simulator it has just started freezing on a black screen. I have tried closing Xcode and re opening and also tried resetting content and settings but neither have worked.

Anyone with any other ideas? I'd really appreciate it.

Try clean build folder (alt-shift-command-K). Then repeat the steps you've already taken.

Hi Cody

Thanks for the advice. It has cleared it a little, I'm now getting the loading page but when it enters the app it just goes black. I am doing the interesting fact app an maybe it was something I did right at the end of the project, although it builds without error. Weird.

Not really sure what the solution is, but it is a good reason to use git. Then you could roll back to a working commit and know when things broke. If you aren't using git I'd start now :)

When you first load the simulator it takes a long time to load, so just wait it out.
