Block description

When making for example the copyright notice-block, the block in the footer shows a headline "COPYRIGHT NOTICE" (which was what I wrote in the description, since the block headline field doesnt exist in my version of drupal core) How do I make that disappear?

When you place the block, you need to make sure "display title" is unchecked. Hope this helps.
