block does not work

main-nav should have the display value block, but it does not work in my case. It always says: Make sure you are using the right display value....

Hi Martin,

The reason its not continuing is because you have repeated yourself. The first menu-nav {display:;} should not be there.

Your code should look something like the below:

header { text-align: center; } .logo { width: 110px; margin: auto; } .main-nav li{ display: inline-block; }

I'm guessing you already passed task 1 and are on task 2.

I see that you have created a rule for .main-nav and added the display property already, but you still need to provide the value for the display.

The challenge asks for "the display value that generates a block element that doesn't take up a full line" which is another way to describe the value you already used for the list items. Just add that to your display property line and you should pass task 2.
