Blogging

Hello,

In a general sense, I have been trying to figure out if its worth blogging for a beginner learning code - Overall I have been told its a good idea (what are your thoughts)?

As someone who has never blogged a word or purposely sought out blogs, I really do have zero knowledge about them. Should I stick with a program like Wordpress to a personal blog on my own site or are there sites out there focused towards developers & programmers to blog on?

Thoughts & Opinions are Appreciated by MANY!

I would stick with Wordpress, personally. It's the platform I always come back to. You can then provide a link on your website too that blog so it's included on your site.

Blogging also has SEO benefits as you will naturally add new content and update your site as you add new posts to your blog. I'm not the best at updating mine as I do struggle for new topics to add to my blog.

I agree with Jonathan that Wordpress is the way to go with this. If you're just wanting to blog and not do some of the deeper Wordpress development stuff, the Learning Wordpress track is fairly short and full of great information. You may also want to check out the standalone course called How to Build Your Business Through Blogging.

Thank you for the advise, I appreciate it. I tried to transfer my site onto Wordpress but was running into problems. I will view more Wordpress videos and try to learn more in order to get my site up and running through it, thank you.
