Book on AJAX?

I want to find a book on learning/understanding AJAX. I'm still confused after watching the videos.

"head first ajax" is pretty good, and the head first series is always fun to read.

I agree, Headfirst have some really good books! But their latest edition on AJAX was published in 2008. Might be outdated, I think.
