1,437 PointsBootcamp in London or Barcelona? Ruby or C#?
Hi everybody,
I'm considering enroling a bootcamp either in London or Barcelona. I'm wondering if somebody knows how the job market is. All London ones are in Ruby and the Bcn (and Madrid) ones have the iOs development option. These are the courses:
London - (All ruby) https://generalassemb.ly/london http://wegotcoders.com/ http://www.makersacademy.com/
Barcelona - (Ruby and C#) http://ironhack.com/en/
I was told by a friend who's a developer that C# was very sought after in Spain, despite the crisis and that ruby was more popolar in the US.
With regards to the UK, Is there a big market for ruby developers (juniors, of course...) C#, etc...?
I've learnt a lot here on treehouse but I do like the learning style of the bootcamps. I'm a big rockie and so I'd like to make a smart investment before making such a big commidment as a bootcamp.
Thanks for the help and for sharing your opinions!!!
Victor

11,688 PointsRuby is very popular. If you do learn and master Ruby, you should be in good position. Most startups use Ruby to carry out their work because they are easy, and fast. Plus, you can do a lot with Ruby too.
PS: I'm not a Ruby developer, but based on observation Ruby is widely popular
