Bootstrap 3 for Rails 3

Im trying to get bootstrap 3 working with a Rails 3 app . I have tried using the gem (from anjab-labs i think) and I have tried just copying and pasting the CSS and Javascript into the app assets and in the vender assets folders. the CSS works but the Javascripts wont.

Figured it out. Jason if you read this let me know if there is a better way.

First I created javascript and stylesheet folders in the public folder. added my bootstrap files to them Second Linked to the files in the layout file Third turned config.assets.enable: from true to false Fourth: Added jquery ( which i think bootstrap is dependent on)

You just need to drop the CSS file into assets > stylesheets and the javascript file into assets > javascript and you're good to go. If you look in both application.css and application.js you will see a line that says:

=require tree

That basically says include all stylesheets/javascript in the stylesheets/javascript folder.
