Bracket keys on a Portuguese keyboard

Hi,

I am not able to use bracket keys on my keyboard as shortcuts...

The reason is that I have to combine "Alt + 8" and "Alt + 9" to obtain "[" and "]", and whenever I press "Alt", the colour picker is selected...

I know I can change shortcuts, but I didn't want to. Is there any other way to solve my issue?

Which version of Photoshop do you have? I know Adobe has made keyboard shortcuts for other languages: https://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5346.

I think in the end though you'd still have bind them unfortunately.

mac books have a add on to where you can configure keyboards into other languages. This might help...

Hi everyone!

For all of you to know the best and fastest way I discovered to change brush size & hardness regardless of your keyboard language is this:

  • Once you have selected the brush tool place the mouse over the image.

  • Press Alt key (I know the colour picker appear but don't mind) + right mouse button and then move the mouse right/left to change brush size and up/down to change hardness.

That's it! ... quick, simple and visual!

PS: This is PC+CS5 ... don't know if it works on Mac. Remember to upvote! ;)

My solution will be simple, I have ordered a photoshop cover from KB Covers and I will change the keyboard layout to US when using Photoshop.

I believe the problem is the same with Spanish keyboards, Rai Uriarte...

It is painful to code and open all these "{" using "Command + Shift + 8", maybe I should think about using an English layout for coding all the time.
