I want to use Adobe Brackets for some coding practice. I created new files and I want to name one index.html. However, when I right click and go to rename, index.html gets typed in the code section and does not rename the file. Please help, thanks!!!

If that works then try to rename the index.html file from brackets to see if the problem continues. If so then you might want to contact their support team directly. https://twitter.com/brackets

3,809 PointsYou can rename the file, which is not in work now. You have two areas with files on the left of the program window. So top area shows you the files, which are in work, and bottom area is to navigate. You can rename files in bottom area and then work with it.
