WordPress Learn BuddyPress: Social Networks with WordPress Customizing BuddyPress Helpful BuddyPress Plugins

BuddyPress Social plugin doesn't work (WP 3.8.2, BuddyPress 1.9.2, on Twenty Thirteen, Fourteen, and my custom theme)

I installed BuddyPress through my WP Admin panel and then installed and activated the BuddyPress Social plugin. None of the social media share buttons appear for any of my members (I loaded the demo data with the BP Default plugin) updates, photos/media etc. What should my next debugging steps be?

Hmm, while technically it does say it's compatible and has only been tested up to 3.5, it still works for me. Did you make sure to manage your settings for the plugin? Then when you look on the activity feed you should see the share option. I don't think this is for posts and pages though so make sure you're looking for the buttons within the BuddyPress content.
