bug in the dateformatter quiz

One ios quiz about dateformatter does not work. the code works in xcode console but does not pass the quiz. Time to fix it?

NSTimeInterval secondsPerDay = 60 * 60 * 24;
NSDateFormatter *dateFormatter = [[NSDateFormatter alloc] init];
// Add your code below
NSDate *today = [[NSDate alloc] init];
NSData *futureDate = [today dateByAddingTimeInterval:secondsPerDay * 10];
[dateFormatter setDateFormat:@"MM/dd/yyyy"];

Can you link the quiz in question?

Hi Ben,

you accidentally used

NSData *futureDate

instead of

NSDate *futureDate

I just tested it and the version:

NSTimeInterval secondsPerDay = 60 * 60 * 24;
NSDateFormatter *dateFormatter = [[NSDateFormatter alloc] init];
// Add your code below
NSDate *today = [NSDate date];
NSDate *futureDate = [today dateByAddingTimeInterval:secondsPerDay * 10];
[dateFormatter setDateFormat:@"MM/dd/yyyy"];

passed the test.

Kind Regards Holger

Nice :)
