BUG: Launching workspace opens window with workspace and changes video page to workspace as well

Trying to launch workspace here and noticed everytime in safari or chrome when I hit 'launch workspace' it opens up a separate window for my workspace as it should..

but then proceeds to leave the video page where we clicked on launch workspace and loads another instance of my workspace in the main window as well.

I then have to click back so I can get back to the video.

I know this doesn't fix the problem, but I just open my workspace using the navigation bar on the left before I even start the video.
