Bug with the new Arrays, Loops, Objects Trailer: I LOL'd

Hey there,

I was just checking out the trailer for the new JS course and noticed something...

Treehouse being ironical

and yeah, I really lol'd.

So it seems something's afoot at the circle J ...

No progress bar happening throughout the video as it plays.

And our pretty little falsey making an appearance over there to the right.

Dave you're one handsome devil... but fix that NaN! lol

Thanks for the new course guys! Keep up the great work :)

Are you seeing this on all videos or just for this course?

Hi huckleberry

You're right. I'm only seeing this in the trailer, not in the regular course. Perhaps this is a little JavaScript joke from our video editors.

Thanks for pointing this out.

*shriek* Dave himself!

Heya there Mr. McFarland. First, thanks for your videos! They're fantastic and I think you do a great job of really covering everything that you do cover down to the nitty gritty and seem to really give it your best effort to try and explain them down to their core essence and finest nuances. While I personally also do enjoy the more ... how should I say... murky & intensive waters of Mr. Hoskins' videos as I enjoy muscling through all this stuff and doing my own side work and research to really figure it out, it can't be overstated how helpful and clarifying your videos have been. A sentiment that I know is echoed by many of the students around these hallowed halls.

Second, I can't speak to the existence or not of the NaN error on the other videos as I haven't watched any of them yet. (waiting till I finish the Foundations course now that I've gone through your Basics course) but it seems that's moot anyway as you've apparently done your due diligence on checking those out.

That's funny that you suggested it might be a little joke though because I was thinking, and rather hoping, the same. People just coming out of the Basics course and having learned the various errors and falseys now pop in and encounter a NaN right on the player. It certainly gave me a chuckle so why not? lol

Thanks Dave,

hello huckleberry

yes! maybe we should just leave that in there. I don't see it on any other videos, and it is kind of funny to see NaN in the player!
