It appears the tut version of ruby is now outdated; I've been running this tut with Ruby 2.0.0 and a lot of the instruction is off.

1,760 Pointsi have been in the same boat , i have been following them with Ruby2 and Rails 4. for most of the stuff you can google your way around to make it work (especially gems)
