Building a notifier (if XML change with certain criteria, then notify me)

Hi! Im about to dig into creating an app which will check a raw XML from a FTP and then notify an user if the XML contain certain information in any node/tag. The notification can be a simple email. Doesn't have to be in real time.

Are there any courses on Treehouse that would be recommended to create the project above?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
