Building a Podcast Website

I'm starting the building process of making a website that will house an audio podcast. Just wanted to ask and see if anyone in the community has any experience with building out a podcast site. I have never done it before so I don't know what to expect or what additional features I should be looking for.

My biggest question is what is the best way to build it out? First thing that comes to mind is WordPress, but is there a better way for rapid development and good features that would benefit a podcast? Thanks for any feedback!
